No Excuses
People are always coming with poor excuses for not being able to train or not putting in 100%. Well frankly there are very few reasons you cannot train, mainly this is due to injury.
This following article outlines everything from a training cycle and sample exercises all the way down to a nutrition plan and even when to go shopping for those of you out there who claim you are "too busy" to train and live this lifestyle.
Hit the link below and give it a read, it's incredibly useful stuff (otherwise I would not be posting it).

Cissus Quadrangularis
This is my favorite supplement/ingredient; this is the one supplement I would recommend to anybody without hesitation with a true belief that it will help them better than anything else.
Basically this is the perfect supplement for joint issues, joint pain, broken bone recovery, muscle injuries and especially tendon issues. What this does is reduce inflammation in your joints, tendons and muscles so you can recover from injuries quicker and recover from heavy sessions even better. There is obviously a lot more science behind it but I'm not going to go into that.
Cissus is a herb found in India and Africa and does not seem to be widely known in training circles. It is widely regarded to be better than most if not all the Glucosamine joint supplements. The following extract is from the Myprotein website about their product:
"Cissus Quadrangularis is a traditional Indian medicine that has been used for centuries to help promote the fracture healing process of bones. Research has shown that the unique blend of vitamins, minerals, and plant sterol compounds can strengthen tissue and bone whilst promoting the overall health of all connective tissue.
The active ingredient of Cissus Quadrangularis is Ketosterone. Cissus is often regarded as a key supplement for anyone who participates in intense and regular physical activity due to the number of benefits; including both mass building and joint protection.
Cissus has also been shown to promote the healing of tendon related injuries by influencing early regeneration of connective tissue through the mobilization of fibroblasts and chondroblasts whilst also delivering nutrients to the injured tissue. Unlike pain relief products, Cissus not only soothes the pain of connective tissue injury but it also works to repair it."
In my personal experience all of this has been true and it really does do what it says on the label. I have ongoing issues with my shoulders for years. I tore my rotator cuff and it was struggling to heal and it was bad for nearly a year. I could not train shoulders or chest properly. I got told about Cissus by a family member who told me how it had helped him recover from a shoulder injury. After a week of taking it I noticed much less pain, better movement and much better recovery. It allowed me to train my shoulders and chest properly and heavier than I had done in a long time. Then when I broke my wrist I was taking Cissus. Doctors were telling me I would be in cast for 6 - 10 weeks! Firstly it took them 3weeks to realise that my wrist was broken, then they put it in a cast. After 6 weeks I went back for an x-ray and the nurse who took the cast off told me that they would most likely put the cast back on. When I saw the Doctor he told me everything looked good and he discharged me, happy days. First few days my wrist was sore but after that it felt good. When this happened I increased the dosage of the Cissus to boost its impact.
Since then I have kept Cissus as a staple in my supplement regime. When I come off it for a bit I notice my joints, especially my shoulders, are much more sore from heavy sessions and recovery takes longer.
Cissus for me a definitely a supplement that works properly and helps an unbelievable amount. So if you have issues with your joints, niggling shoulder injuries, serious shoulder injuries, broken bones or tendon issues then I would 100% recommend trying some Cissus.
Here are some products available:
Myprotein Mega Cissus

Mega Cissus
Bulk Supplements Direct Ultra Cissus Quadrangularis 50%
Ultra Cissus Quadrangularis 50%
I have tried both of these and both are excellent. Just be aware they take a few days to build up in your system before they really kick in. I take one upon waking and one before bed and this should be enough for most people, but if you need more take more.
Cissus is a great addition to anyone training hard and heavy so give it a shot, you will not be disappointed!
